Overview
Producing podcasts is an amazing option to work remotely in your very own home studio. You have the option to record locally right in your DAW or even use remote recording podcasting platforms like RiversideFM, Zencastr, and SquadCast to converse with guests across the world. For this string of assignments, we're going to dabble in making our own short-form podcasts! While including video is an option for podcasters, let's narrow our focus to producing an audio-exclusive.
You have free range on (school-appropriate) content in any format you'd like. You can talk off-the-cuff by yourself or with a guest in a loose conversational format; go with an interview format and ask someone a few questions; go a scripted journalistic route about an MTEC current event or news piece. Even just a short spot about yourself and talking about something you are really interested in lately works.
