Behind The Music

This song was inspired by the hardships in life that we all must face. When I wrote the song, I was really feeling down. I had just lost my grandmother who passed away this year, I was frustrated with how the pandemic was affecting everything, and I really missed being with my loved ones. I remember I had gone for a drive to clear my head in the back roads of Gilroy. It was finally sunny from a long week of rain and I couldn’t help but notice the greenery of the countryside. It made me think about how there are a lot of good things in life that out weigh the bad and how “it ain’t so bad” to be alive. I teamed up with a young local producer from Hollister named Adrian Perez who provided the beat
