Hi Music Tech Students!
First off, we just want to say thank you for choosing to take a course with our Music Technology Program. Whether you are taking the class out of curiosity or looking to polish your music skillsets to enter the digital media content creation workforce, we aim to make these courses as fun, engaging and useful as possible for all students regardless of your level.
When you’re able to access your Music Tech courses on Canvas, please take some time to review the following:
Canvas Notifications
You might want to go into your Canvas Notifications and turn a lot of those OFF to minimize the chatter of your inboxes! Every time I edit, or even BREATHE on one of your Canvas items, your will get a "notification." This can be a distracting nuisance. Personally, I turn ALL Canvas notifications OFF except for a daily digest from the Announcements and instructor comments on assignments. But you are free to setup your own preferences. For more info, watch this very exciting video: Canvas Notification Preferences.
