Instructions
- Import the bounced/exported stereo audio file from a previous mix practice in to a new mastering session
- Set the session to 24-bit, 44.1kHz, interleaved
- Use techniques and strategies from the lecture materials in this module to master the song
- Print the song with your master processing on to a new track
- Export the printed stereo audio file
Upload to mixup.audio
- Create a new track in Mixup named "52A-Mastering Exercise"
- Upload both the BEFORE and AFTER master processed files to the track as different versions
- Clearly name these versions so we can compare the tracks and hear your master processing
- Get a shareable link to the playlist to post in Canvas by clicking the "Invite" button
- Provide comments on each version at the one second timestamp that include:
- Before version: plans for the master processing
- After version: techniques you used in your mastering workflow
Submit in Canvas
- Post the link to your Mixup track
