Modules as Home Page
Just a heads up: We switched the Home Page default view in Canvas to Modules, to help us focus on developing this area.

Music and Science Journal
I've been a member of the International Association of Music and Medicine for many years. The Music and Medicine Journal is a great publication. As an international organization, it is more multidisciplinary and open minded than the American Music Therapy Association.
So, I was very excited to discover this new publication:
- Music and Science
- I will work on getting a copy and sharing to students in this class!
Video Library
We have been going through the videos archives and converting them into an updated database hosted on the MusicTechWiki server. It's a lot of work, but we are rediscovering some great material.
This week we're featuring two videos:
- JodyWilfong-MusicTherapy-Lecture
- This was one of our very first Music Therapy classes at Foothill College back in 2013. Jody is a great example, and spokesperson, for traditional Music Therapists (as defined by the AMTA - American Music Therapy Association).
- AliveInside-Film
- Award winning feature film documentary based on MUSIC & MEMORY - a non-profit organization that brings personalized music into the lives of the elderly or infirm through digital music technology, vastly improving quality of life.
Power of Sound Quiz
- This week's quiz is based on Leeds Ch11 Animals and Sound. The study is fascinating because animals don't lie and don't respond to the placebo effect. Also, this field ultimately evolved into one of Joshua Leeds' core focus: working with animals.
